ALMM listing, not brand recognition

Off-list modules cannot be used in a subsidised install. That rules out most cheap imports.

The degradation curve, not the peak rating

Every module is rated in a lab your roof will never match. Ask what it still produces in year 25.

Temperature coefficient

Panels here run hot most of the year. A better temperature coefficient beats a slightly higher rating.
